The Freisi team

We are Team Freisi. This spirit has gradually established itself at the Freisinger Hof over the last few years.

By this we mean that we pull together, that the needs of our guests take center stage - and that we are simply stronger as a team than many individuals.

Our team spirit

The cornerstones of our team philosophy can be summarized as follows:

  • The Freisinger Hof is an emotional home for employees and guests who appreciate unique and personal service.
  • Thus, we want to create all amenities and a feel-good atmosphere for both business guests and private guests, which is characterized by individual care and a personal approach to wishes and needs.
  • We want to be unique thanks to our tradition, our historical background and our family service
  • We strive for sustainability and environmental awareness - with our team, our suppliers and partners and with our guests

.

The guests' needs are the focus - and we as a team are simply stronger than many individuals.

A brief historical review.

The Freisinger Hof was first mentioned in a document in 1160 on the site where the Freisinger Hofbräuhaus stands today. Around 1875, an inn was operated on the site, with a considerable annual turnover of 150 hl of beer and 30 hl of schnapps.

In 1900, the property was purchased by Aktienbrauerei AG Freising. Several changes of ownership followed over the next few decades, until Karl Wallisch took over the Freisinger Hof restaurant in 1995. In 1999, the first 13 rooms were opened above the restaurant in the main building St. Emmeram, which had already been converted for the Olympic Games in the 1970s and subsequently used as staff rooms.

In the early 2000s, the drinks market and the small villa located on the site of the current hotel were finally demolished and the hotel in its current form finally opened in 2006.

Today, there are 12 hotel rooms above the "Stepperg" restaurant building and 38 rooms in the "St. Emmeram" building built in 2006, including a lobby, conservatory, seminar room, breakfast room, wellness area and fitness room.
